No worries....we're all busy! I guess now with the arrival of a certain someone this week, we are going to be a whole lot busier!
Not sure who your Native American guide could be. This may seem off the wall here but why dont you ask him his name? Just sit quietly alone without any interuptions and think about nothing else but him for 5 or 10 minutes, its ok if you get other thoughts interupting your train of thought just bring yourself back to thinking about your guide, kind of like a meditation.
Then once you are in the zone and completely focused on him and only him......ask him what his name is. Trust whatever answer comes back to you as the right answer, although it will probably be an answer in your own voice more likely than his voice.
I did something like this only I got as far as sitting in front of him, he had his head bowed so I couldnt see his face, and when I asked him to tell me his name, the reply I got was "White Cloud".
I'd never heard the name. I thought it was crap and I had made it all up and I was getting mixed up with Red Cloud (who I had heard of) and it was something subliminally connecting the 'Cloud' part of the name.
Anyway, I googled him and he is REAL. OMG Jo, I was gobsmacked as you can imagine. He is handsome too with long black hair, very noble looking I think. This is him:
It may not work first time you try to ask his name, but keep practising and it will come, probably when you least expect it.

OMG thank you so much for the post AND the message. My spirit guide is a Native American Sioux Chief so that message (Lakota is one of the tribes of the Sioux) really struck a chord for me. And what a lovely message too.

Hi Everyone, My names Jo, I have been a fan of Barry's for nearly 30 years. I first heard his voice five years before I new who he was. I heard him sing on the radio but missed his name. All I knew was that he came from Brooklyn New York and played the piano, I couldn't forgot his voice though, it kept going round and round in my head, I had to find him. I searched all the record shops but could not find him. Then one day back in 1979 I was at work near Wembley Arena, when a guy I worked with said he had taken his wife to a concert to see this guy called Barry Manilow from Brooklyn who played the piano and had a beautiful voice. I knew it must be the voice I had going round in my head. So I got tickets and went to see him. As soon as he opened his mouth, I knew it was him, I had found him and I have been with him ever since.
